Barry Hyde, of the Sunderland-born indie rock band The Futureheads, is heading to Jumpin’ Jacks (above the Dog & Parrot) this December for a special one-off acoustic showcase.
What’s so special about it? You may ask, well, rather than Barry just performing his solo and Futureheads material, he’ll also be bringing along a selection of singer songwriters to help him take you on a musical journey from the ‘Forties to the Noughties‘. Each performer will have their own decade to cover, bringing you the most popular songs of that decade.
Barry will be taking care of the new-wave indie sounds of the 2000’s to round off the night, after some of the best upcoming musicians in the region give you hit after hit from more than 60 years of popular music.
Performers on the night include: Ellie Sunderland, Connor Thomas and Rhys Breen, with more to be announced soon.
