The post this week should really be called ‘Artists’ of the week, rather than ‘Artist’ because…we’re featuring two separate artists (we made the rules, we can brake them, send hate here). The duo of Teesside rapper-producer Naughty40 and Newcastle based rapper Reali-T dropped their first ever joint EP last week, entitled Still Tuned?; and if you haven’t already read our review, we think it’s pretty good.
The 6-track project showcases both of these artists at their best, with Reali-T spitting his signature witty bars over Naughty40’s top-tier beats. Standout cuts are ‘Red Light Runnin” (the only track to feature vocals from 40) and ‘Biggest Fan’, a story of a relationship in turmoil over a struggling rap career.
With various solo projects in the works for both T and 40, only time will tell if Still Tuned? will ever get a sequel, but we know we want one. If you want to find out more, check out our review here and stream/download the EP from your platform of choice.
