Here’s a little introduction to each artist that’ll be performing on the night…

*Artists listed in the order they will be appearing

DJ A.D.S

DJ A.D.S is a hip-hop, funk & soul DJ, a producer and rapper with years of experience to his name. He’ll be kicking the night off with some expertly mixed classic and contemporary hip-hop, no doubt with some mesmerising scratch skills thrown in for good measure.

Ryza

Having just dropped his debut album ‘MECASASUCASA’, Newcastle-born emcee Ryza is quickly making his name locally as a force to be reckoned with in the rap game. He’s as real as they come, with a gritty sound and no nonsense lyricism inspired by the struggles he’s faced throughout his life.

HB

H-man and Just B are two of the best grime emcees in the North of England and when they come together to form HB the energy they create is relentless. Having just finished recording their latest album ‘Overcast’ (keep your eyes peeled for the review – spoiler: it’s f**king great!), the duo are in the form of their lives right now – certainly not to be missed.

The Skrufz

Certified legends of the North East hip-hop scene, you’d be hard pushed to find anyone that’s been reppin’ the region for as long as The Skrufz. With 15 years of mic rocking under their belts, The Skrufz have supported many world-class artists; such as Public Enemy, Rahzel, Wu Tang Clan, Cutmaster Swift, Plan B, Skinny Man and countless others. Truly NE hip-hop royalty.

VampHigher Life

Headlining the night is Newcastle’s newest rap supergroup: This Be The Click, H-Man, BEN BlueStar and birthday boy Nugz Bunny, AKA VampHigher Life. With so much talent on the stage at once, it’ll be interesting to see how these lads gel for their biggest ever live performance together to-date – be there to witness hip-hop history in the making!
