Newcastle drill collective M310‘s Figz and Nemo drop hard new track “Invest In Roads”. Given the incredible rise in mainstream popularity of the London-centric UK drill scene over the past couple of years, it’s no surprise that the controversial genre is slowly making its way into the North East’s humble urban music scene – a movement fronted largely by young, teenage rappers like Figz and Nemo of M310. Hey, this track isn’t breaking any new ground sonically or lyrically, but it’s more than obvious that these young lads have bags of potential – today we’re seeing the beginning of the North East drill movement.
