RONINCLAN - Artist of the Year

A favourite to win the competition, Newcastle trap-metal trio RONINCLAN have had an incredible first year; making a name for themselves in an extremely short amount of time, meaning they’ve pipped well-established names, like HB and Blitz, to the post in 3rd place. An amazing effort from the lads, they’re definitely an act to keep an eye on in 2019.

2ND – NE Dons (246 votes, 27.61%)

NE Dons - Artist of the YearNewcastle grime duo NE Dons are another act that have made an incredible impact in 2018. Having already built a substantial amount of hype with live performances and singles “NANG” and “Pick N Mix”, the Dons dropped their debut EP ‘NANG’ in September; etching their name as one of the most impressive new acts of 2018.

WINNER – Shakk (308 votes, 34.57%)

With a huge 34% of the vote, Shakk ran away with the competition; earning him a paid spot at Lindisfarne Festival 2019.
