Our favourite thing about doing these ‘Track of the Week’ articles is that we get to showcase the freshest new music and local talent coming out of the North East every week. This week’s TOTW has got us super excited because it’s a debut single from a brand new artist – you can’t get any fresher than that!
RobRez is a rapper reppin’ Newcastle, his debut single “KILL EM” dropped last week along with one of the slickest videos to-date from NCL videographers CØH Visuals. “KILL EM” rocks with an old school boom-bap beat produced by Necro, with eerie piano keys throughout. Without a hook, this debut track lets RobRez showcase his ability to flow for almost three minutes with virtually no interruption.
This track oozes early potential, RobRez could well be coming for the North East scene. Keep your eyes peeled.
