This week’s TOTW is no-less than a North East classic. Originally released in 2014, “The Storm Is Here” is a standout track in the arsenal of Geordie grime duo H-man and Just B (HB), but why is it our Track of the Week in 2019? Well, the track has been given a new lease of life recently as the name and theme song for one of North Wrestling NCL‘s marquee events.
As it was the company’s third birthday last weekend, H & B were invited to perform their track live at an event. They didn’t perform on stage though, they performed in the wrestling ring! Surely this makes them the first grime artists from the region to perform at anything like this, more than enough reason to bring this iconic track back into the spotlight.
