After seeing this track go off at Lindisfarne Festival last week we couldn’t wait to hear the studio version and stick it on repeat. RIDE Music’s 2018 Artist of the Year Shakk has delivered again with his first single of 2019 “Friends”. The track just radiates positive energy, an ode to all the friends that have been there for Shakk over the years. The backbone of the beat is cavernous and breezy, with added edge coming from some light trap hi-hats. The glue between Shakk’s signature smooth verses is a chorus that wouldn’t feel out of place at the end of a feel-good film; an easy sing-a-long at any of his live shows.
