Since Ben Taylor recently announced on social media that KV$HNOODLE may not be the right creative output for him anymore, it seems he can’t stop putting out bangers under the KV$H name. This time he’s linked up with fellow RIDE Music favourite Scapegoat Avarice, creating what’s already setting up to the biggest hit yet for the boys. “Wake Up” quickly racked up over 1K streams on Spotify the day it dropped!
Both artists bounce off each other on this moody emo-trap cut. The pair’s crooning Northern vocals and rough-edged production makes for a listen that’s pleasingly grittier than the shimmering American sound that inspired this modern emo wave. There’s a spark when these two talented musicians come together, maybe this is the creative output to keep the name KV$HNOODLE alive.
