Taken from his upcoming EP ‘Dead On Arrival’ – due to be released October 31st – “VØLATILE” is one of Scapegoat Avarice‘s hardest tracks yet. Scape really made an impact last year with his ‘Avarice’ EP, mixing emo-trap with straight up bars he showed a real diversity of styles throughout the project.
The experimental rapper has always flirted with metal vocals, especially when performing live with trap-metal collective NRTHGØDS, but on “VØLATILE” he’s turned this side of his style up to the max. Adopting a Jekyll and Hyde delivery that transitions from clean-cut bars to blood curdling screams with a frightening ease, Scape really shows you why he’s one of the most exciting artists in the region right now.
Maybe the heaviness of “VØLATILE” is a sign of things to come on Scape’s upcoming EP, it’ll potentially be a project fulled by anger and defined by mosh inducing bangers.
