Newcastle rap collective 243 are back with a brand new banger, this time enlisting the help of North East rap royalty Kema Kay on “Moschino”. 243 have made a name for themselves locally for cultivating a uniquely melodic drill sound, making tracks that go hard in the verses whilst also hitting with the most ear-worm hooks. Take early single “It’s About To Rain” for example, its hook gets stuck in your head for weeks after hearing it.
On this new single the boys have pushed the melodic element of their sound to the max, “Moschino” is a chart worthy banger that shows 243 are continuing to evolve and aren’t afraid to take risks with their sound.
