We’re breaking the rules a little bit with this Track of the Week. It’s not hip-hop, or even rap, “Drive A Car With Your Eyes Closed” is Jack Fox‘s spoken-word call to arms.
Originally released in 2018 as a part of Jack’s ‘Seriously Butterflies’ EP, the track quickly became a fan favourite with amazing responses whenever it got performed live. Imagine the famous ‘Choose Life’ speech Ewan McGregor gives in Trainspotting, the one that gets put on posters, but it’s put to music. That’s the best way we can describe it. It’s inexplicably motivational, rabble rousing, witty, simply a listen that inspires an emotional response every time.
