More than a side project, Hølløwvøid is a brand new trio that sees RoninClan‘s Shoshin Noel and Kiba (formally Lxngcat) and October Ends frontman Sixn band together in an effort to reinvent nu-metal. Their debut single “Katana” captures the essence of what this new outfit is all about; they’ve thrown all of their influences, from modern trap-metal to noughties emo, into a pot and pulled out an adrenaline rush of a sound made for letting loose in pits.
The project was inspired by Noel aka Jak Francis’ need for life changing surgery to combat an on going medical condition that seriously limits him on a daily basis. Listen to the brand new track, featuring a sweaty video cameo from me, and if you enjoy it donate to Jak’s fund here.
