Smashing our Instagram poll this week was UK rapper E-Mence with his latest single “Tired”. This deep cut deviates from the Sunderland native’s usual fast spitting style in favour of a more melodic and melancholic vibe.
E-Mence captures some real emotion in “Tired” as he raps and sings about the trials and tribulations he’s faced inside his own head. The notion of fighting your inner-demons is a feeling I’m sure we can all relate to and E-Mence captures it with finesse on this track. “Tired” also shows that E-Mence is more than just a gifted rapper that can spit bars, he’s a well rounded artist that can sing with real emotion too.
