We get sent some really out there music here at RIDE. It’s fair to say we’ve heard a lot of very different, out of the box tracks and artists over the years. But nothing quite compares to Riley Hell and his death metal rap.
You read that right, death metal rap. All the guttural screams and demonic vocals of bands like Job For A Cowboy and Suicide Silence packed into one fast paced, hard hitting rap package.
Riley’s music certainly ain’t for the faint of heart, but as far as death metal rap goes… this is probably the best shit there is out there. Not that I think Riley has much competition right now, he’s certainly carved out his own lane and we at RIDE respect nothing more than an artist breaking creative boundaries.
With track names like “The Murder Song” and “Suck My DDD”, this ain’t no golden era rap that’s for sure. It’s an unashamedly brash smashing together of two genres that’s so crazy that it works!
Riley’s latest single, “Blood Is My Lube”, is maybe his most teeth shattering and utterly adrenaline charged track yet. The name alone is enough to make your grandma sick. The Seattle native takes no prisoners on this one. It’s a listening experience like nothing you’ve ever heard before – we can promise you that!
