Single Review: “Somebody I Love” – Tino K

Tino K

You know here at RIDE Music we’re all about finding fresh artists with unique sounds that are trying to get themselves noticed. We particularly like those artists who push and blur genre boundaries with their creativity. And Tino K is one of those kind of artists.

The Zimbabwean born artist has lived in the UK from a very young age and was quickly obsessed with music as a child. His first experience singing was in his school choir at the tender age of 10 years old, he then began writing music at the age of 12. But it’s taken him almost a decade to really find his sound and take a shot at a career in music seriously.

“Somebody I Love” is one of Tino’s most recent singles and without doubt his most polished effort to date. Overall the track has a real glossy, tropical pop vibe to it mixed with some modern R’n’B. You can instantly imagine it doing the rounds on mainstream radio playlists.

But there’s something about Tino’s vocals that give the track an edge. They’re almost pop-punk, Blink-182 style in the way lingers on the end of notes and really drags out the melodies. It’s this combination of slick pop and intoxicating vocals that make this track stand out and mark Tino as an up and coming artist worth watching.

If edgy pop meets R’n’B sounds like your thing then don’t sleep on Tino K. This young artist might just breakthrough to your playlists in the near future!
