We love covering things on RIDE that are super unique. Artists trying to push boundaries and challenge the norm. And that’s exactly what Yellow Majesty and Alli Hart do on this brand new single “A Song for the Weak”.
Based in Sweden, Yellow Majesty is an audio-visual music project comprised of one man, Amir Haj-Bolouri. On this one the enigmatic artist teams up with American actress and singer Alli Hart for a super surreal sonic experience. Yellow Majesty is known for his atmospheric soundscapes and Alli’s vocal only add to the eerie vibe he builds on this track.
Despite building this track across two different continents the pair have an amazing chemistry and really click across Majesty’s sonic soundscape. Speaking on the track, Majesty said: “Technology helped us to coordinate the recording process, and for arranging and shooting the music video. This song is a testament towards the possibilities of connecting, creating and transcending boundaries and distance, especially during the wicked circumstances of the pandemic.”
“A Song for the Weak” is an emotionally charged sonic experience that you really feel. Yellow Majesty and Alli Hart have really created something special here, the atmosphere is palpable and it’s one of the most moving tracks I’ve heard all year.
