Single Review: “Mula” – Mykez 2nation

Mykez 2nation

You’ll remember Southampton’s finest spitter Mykez 2nation from when we reviewed his stellar ‘RESURRECTION’ mixtape back in July. Now he’s back with another hard hitting track after a close shave with the law.

“Mula” chronicle’s Mykez’ arrest earlier this year on suspicion of possession Class A’s with intent to supply. After finding they have insufficient evidence the police released Mykez with the threat that the investigation into him is still on going.

Despite having to go through an ordeal, rather than feeling shitty about the situation, Mykez felt inspired to put pen to paper and step inside the booth to get his story out there.

Short and sweet, Mykez has put his usual flair and style on this one, turning a negative story into a superb club banger. He flows over the garage meets afroswing beat with finesse. It’s one of those ones you could easily hear on the radio as it demands repeat play after getting stuck in your head.

This one has the potential to really start turning heads nationally for Mykez. It’s got the perfect combination of mainstream appeal and street grit. “Mula” could be the track to take Mykez 2nation to the next level!
