Single Review: “Ruff Ryders” – Anderson 100

Anderson 100

It seems as every day passes more talented artists keep emerging out of Birmingham, it’s quickly becoming one of the UK’s biggest hotspots for rap because of the raw talents the city continues to producer. And today we’re brining you another one, fast rising Brum artist Anderson 100 and his new single Ruff Ryders.

Reppin’ for Birmingham whilst proudly celebrating his Caribbean heritage, Anderson 100 comes with a fresh and dynamic sound on this one. Despite being labelled a rapper, he’s no one dimensional artist and he really uses this track to flex his full talents behind the mic.

Ruff Ryders is obviously a tribute to the late, great DMX. Anderson 100 pays homage to this legend in the most UK way possible. He attacks the skippy beat with the same aggression as his legendary inspiration, sound somewhat like fellow Brum rap star M1llionz in his delivery.

Anderson 100 goes pedal to the metal from start to finish on this one, there’s no denying it’s an absolute banger that’s filled with sick punchlines and mind bending flows that you can’t help but screw face to.

Get with the programme because Birmingham has a new rapper setting his sights on the UK crown. Anderson 100 has cemented his place as one of the best in the city with Ruff Ryders. He’s an under-rated spitter with bags of raw talent that’ll no doubt go on to do big things. This is just the start for Anderson 100 and we’re excited to see where this track takes him next…
