Album Review: ‘NO DIET’ – Demi Gods

Demi Godz

No Diet is the brand new album from fast rising underground rap star Demi Gods.

Hailing from Victoria, Australia, Demi Gods has already been making waves in his local scene with his trippy sound that blends hip-hop, rap, emo and metal to create one ultra-strong sonic punch.

This latest ten track project is set to start turning heads on an international scale for Demi Gods. No Diet is like one massive lean infused dream, taking you on a blurry trip through a whole spectrum of emotions. From futuristic hype bangers to downtrodden melancholy sing-a-longs, this one will really get you in your feelings one way or another.

Gatorade ft. Drip Lich is one of those spaced on dreamy bangers, an absoute stand-out from the project. This track feels like something that Rocky could have had on LONG.LIVE.A$AP, it’s that vibe all over.

The crazy thing is, another highlight follows straight after this track; it’s the super catchy Immortal, this time just produced by Drip Lich. At just over two minutes this one is short and super sweet, the whole thing just feels like a chorus. It gets stuck in your head from the off and has you smashing that repeat button to wear this one out.

Overall this whole album is the most dynamic work Demi Gods has dropped to date. He switches styles from track to track but they all still have his signature dark style, and what’s even better, he’s sick on any style he chooses.

What a way this is to kick off 2022 for Demi Gods, No Diet is a hard hitting project that’s undoubtably going to bring more attention his way this year. We can’t wait to see where he goes after this one!
