The warms days are creeping up on us and nothing quite soundtracks relaxing in the sun like wavy lo-fi hip-hop. That’s why we’re checking out the brand new single from Z-AK47, the super mellow Dirty Y-3’s.
The North Carolina based spitter wrote this one during a bout of depression and recorded it at 3am in his friend’s wardrobe. You don’t get that vibe from the track at all though, Z-AK47 successfully dragged himself and everyone that listens to a happy place with this one.
You do get that authentic, DIY feel with this track. It sounds raw and you can just vibe away to it. Z-AK47 makes it so easy to lose yourself in this track in the best way. It’s such an easy listen.
Apparently Z-AK47 has got an album in the works right now and this track has really got our hopes high for what he could do on a project. Soundtrack of the summer incoming?
