Single Review: “Chase All My Dreams” – Cjay

Liverpool is a city on the up when it comes to the rap game, with more and more artists from Merseyside finally getting the respect they deserve in the UK scene.

Another one of those artists hoping to gain the respect of the scene is 22 year old Cjay, with his brand video for top single Chase All My Dreams.

Taken from his debut EP ‘Mind over Matter‘, Chase All My Dreams is an inspiring track, exploring Cjay’s goals and ambitions; from being a rapper to to his childhood dreams of becoming a footballer.

The video is filmed at Liverpool F.C’s iconic Anfield Stadium, with Cjay spitting about creating his own lane, staying grateful, and rising above all of the challenges he’s faced throughout his life.

With a confident aura about him and a super catchy flow, this track will keep you coming back for more anytime you’re looking for some inspiration.

Chase All My Dreams was written in an hour by the Cjay and produced by Drumdog, showcasing the sheer talent this duo possesses.

The track, much like the others on the EP, was inspired by Cjay’s real life, the stories that make him who he is. Keeping this realness though his music makes Cjay’s track that much more engaging.

Cjay is looking to put himself on the map, taking over his home city of Liverpool and beyond with catchy hooks, real lyrics and high energy. And if Chase All My Dreams is anything to go by then Cjay really is one to watch.
